Statistics Canada's Census Profile presents information from the Census of Population for various geographic areas. Users can search for an area of interest among census subdivisions (municipalities), census divisions, economic regions, census metropolitan areas, census agglomerations, census tracts, federal electoral districts, population centres, designated places.

Data Profiles View statistics across a variety of topics for your state, county or town. Tables and Maps Dynamically add geographies, topics, or filters to get the data tables and maps you need. Using census tracts, you can select the boundaries of your area and access demographic, socioeconomic, and housing statistics about your community.

Data Profiles have the most frequently requested social, economic, housing, and demographic data. Each of these four subject areas is a separate data profile. The data profiles summarize the data for a single geographic area, both numbers and percent, to cover the most basic data on all topics.

Sometimes these coincide with the limits of cities, towns or other administrative areas and several tracts commonly exist within a county.
